File formatting takes a photograph and captures the camera data, which creates the digital image. The most commonly used formats are ,JPEG, TIFF, RAW, DNG, PNG, GIF, BMP, and PSD. JPEG stands for joint photographic experts group, also it one of the most known of all image file formats. As for TIFF stands for tagged image file format and it commonly used in photography industry. RAW mean just basically nothing happened to the picture but it used  advanced compact cameras. DNG stands for digital negative format, how you use that use different proprietary format to catch the raw files. PNG stands for portable network graphics it was created in the 90’s as an improvement on the gif file format. GIF stands for graphics interchange format and used on the internet. BMP stands for bitmap image file, this one is just another lossless. PSD stands for photoshop document it just edited.
